Law Training Centre’s SQE1+2 Complete Prep courses contain all the features of our SQE1 and SQE2 preparation courses including on demand content, live workshops, mock assessments and unlimited tutor support.
There are two SQE1+2 Complete Prep courses available:
- SQE1+2 Complete Prep for Law Graduates: For those who have a Common law LLB, GDL – 2:2 or equivalent (50%) or LLM and are looking for a fast-track route to complete both the SQE1 and SQE2 and plan to take the SQE1 and SQE2 assessments in consecutive assessment sitting windows. If you do not have any of the stated qualifications, but have a legal qualification, for example a Level 6 CLC or CILEX Diploma, or have significant practice experience, or wish to otherwise discuss your eligibility please contact our enrolment team to discuss prior to enrolment.
- SQE1+2 Complete Prep for LPC Graduates: Those who are exempt from SQE1 through the LPC transitional arrangements but require study of the SQE1 areas to obtain the functioning legal knowledge for the SQE2.
The course supports the findings of the 2022/23 annual report of the SQE produced by the SRA which highlights that of those who passed the SQE1 in January 2023 and went on to sit the SQE2 in April 2023 (the next assessment window) the pass rate was 90% which was higher than the overall pass rate for that assessment (80%).
When should you start?
Choose your intended exam sitting and refer to the associated enrolment period. You can enrol at any time within the stated period, however, if you wish to have the full period of access you should enrol at the start of the period.
The course access period will ensure that you have full course access and support throughout the relevant assessment period.
What will you learn?
SQE1
The learning content for our SQE1 Preparation has been specifically designed to meet the SQE1 assessment specification with each subject area divided into topics to match the areas of law and practice listed allowing for ease of reference and tracking of progress. The content is updated in line with any developments or changes that the SRA makes to the assessment specification.
SQE2
The SQE2 builds on the functioning legal knowledge (FLK) tested in the SQE1 assessment. The learning content for SQE2 Preparation focuses on applying the FLK to the skills tested in the SQE2 assessment.
How will you study?
A variety of learning resources are provided to suit different learning styles and are designed in a way to provide knowledge and understanding of each topic, together with revision and application, guiding you step by step through your study of the SQE1 and SQE2 syllabus.
