If 2021 is anything to go by then 2022 is going to be another fantastic year for those studying and working in law! From the introduction of the Solicitor’s Qualifying Examination (SQE), to the conveyancing boom thanks to the extended stamp duty holiday, the past year has been one of change, progress, and opportunity right across the legal sector.
The introduction of the SQE
Here at Law Training Centre we are delighted to be continuing to help more learners than ever before to achieve their goals and pursue their dream legal career. In early 2021 we were proud to introduce our bespoke SQE1 Prep course, which offers unlimited access to expert tutor support, a rich bank of learning resources, and a PassPlus guarantee.
It has been wonderful to see our first SQE learners progress through their course and sit their SQE1 exams, and I would like to personally applaud you all for this achievement. I would also like to extend my sincere congratulations to all learners across our CLC, NALP, and CILEx courses for the outstanding results they have achieved throughout the last year.
New courses and the launch of SQE2 Prep
Recognising that no two learners are the same, our SQE1 Express and SQE1 Assess online courses were introduced in the later part of last year – providing learners with even more freedom and choice to qualify in the way that best meets their needs. Looking ahead, we are excited to be launching our SQE2 Prep course early this year, providing a complete pathway for aspiring Solicitors to study and succeed.
Access to Law SQE Scholarship
We are also extremely proud that 2021 saw the launch of Law Training Centre’s Access to Law SQE Scholarship, awarding learners who would not otherwise have had access to a legal education with £1,000 towards the cost of their SQE studies. We are delighted to be able to also offer this Scholarship to our SQE2 learners moving forwards, as well as extend the window for applications indefinitely.
CILEx Professional Qualification
Finally, 2021 also saw Law Training Centre become an accredited training provider for the new CILEX Professional Qualification (CPQ). We very much look forward to welcoming our first CPQ learners in the very near future, whilst continuing to offer the full suite of legacy qualifications.
