One year to go until CILEX’s Legacy Level 3 qualifications are finally withdrawn.
The CILEX Legacy qualification is being replaced with the new CPQ. CILEX advise that you complete the qualification that you are already on before transitioning to the new qualification.
The CILEX Legacy Level 3 and Level 6 qualifications are OFQUAL regulated and may be eligible for exemptions on complementary qualifications. For example, if an aspiring lawyer is looking to dual qualify as a Licensed Conveyancer or Probate Practitioner, certain CILEX units may give you an exemption, saving you time and money.
We know that many of our learners are aiming to complete the CILEX Level 3 or Level 6 diploma, or are just aiming to gain a certification in particular subject areas before the qualification is finally withdrawn. The Level 3 qualification will be withdrawn in 2023 and the Level 6 qualification will be withdrawn in 2026. To assist our learners in achieving their goals, we are running and supporting the CILEX Legacy units until the withdrawal date.
Law Training Centre is granting additional assistance in the form of 50% off tuition fees for all Level 3 and Level 6 CILEX Legacy subjects (excl. Professional Skills). This financial assistance will be applied as a fee reduction for enrolments received between the 1 November and 31 March.
The CILEX Legacy route is Ofqual regulated and will pave the way for you to become a Chartered Legal Executive, Fellow and CILEX Practitioner.
With a 50% reduction on all CILEX subjects* the time is now to complete your CILEX Legacy qualification and move on to your next stage of qualifying as a practicing lawyer.
For more information on our offer, running from the 1 November, please contact our Student Services Team on [email protected].
