Learner course dashboard
We are excited to announce that in 2017 all our learners benefit from access to their course materials via the leading learning management system, Moodle.
LTC’s works with law firms, government organisations and business in house legal departments. The people from these organisations that take our courses range from Solicitors, Legal Executives, Paralegals and support staff undergoing short courses for Continuing Professional Development training (CPD) to professionals undertaking training to pass their CILEx Diplomas. They are all faced the with the challenge of balancing busy schedules but they take their development seriously.
At LTC we recognise these challenges and we have created even greater value and accessibility for busy learners. We undertook extensive research on online platforms and selected the Moodle learning management system for our learners so that they may continue to get the most from their training with us even out of the training rooms.
Learners will have access to their course materials via any internet enabled device including their smartphone. They can listen and watch their training sessions on demand, as many times as they like, ideal for revising and catching up on missed session. Those studying towards Diplomas in our classroom based sessions will have on demand access to their recorded lectures, assessments and past exams papers and suggested answers which are crucial resources for exam preparation. Further features under development include revision aids, quizzes, forums, group exercises, useful examples of forms that can be printed off for practice, essential websites and subject specific resources.
Recorded lectures with slideshows on demand
Dino Dullabh, Commercial Director and Lecturer says ‘at LTC we pay close attention to the learner’s journey and the quality of their experience. We are always looking at ways to make learning more accessible and interactive. Our learners are truly unique from all walks of life but they do all have common factors. They lead busy lives and are undertaking challenging courses in addition to a full calendar of work, social and family commitments. The time they have available to study is naturally under pressure. However, the use of innovative learning tools helps our learners get the most out of their courses.’
‘Not only is this e-learning system a benefit to our learners but it also benefits our experienced team of lecturers and tutors by helping them deliver their knowledge and practice experience in an engaging format that ensures quality for learners. We are grateful to our fantastic teaching staff and assistants for their behind-the-scenes work and effort to deliver excellent teaching and materials for our learners.’
